Admissions Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (RN)

This position will be responsible for all admissions into Health Services facilities. The Admissions Coordinator will conduct tours, collect all necessary information, and coordinate all aspects of admission into The Woodlands. The Admissions Coordinator will follow all skilled residents until discharge from skilled care. The position of the Infection Preventionist (IP) is to conduct infection prevention and control activities as a result of education, training and experience. The IP is a Registered Nurse and has attended the Statewide Program for Infection Prevention and Control for Long Term Care.
