President & Chief Executive Officer – Saint John’s On The Lake - Milwaukee

Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Saint John’s On The Lake to conduct an executive search for a President & Chief Executive Officer.

Saint John’s On The Lake (Saint John’s) is a not-for-profit, Continuing Care Retirement Community nestled in three towers on the bluffs of beautiful Lake Michigan and is Milwaukee’s most distinguished senior living community. For more than 150 years, Saint John’s person-centered philosophy has influenced daily life throughout the entire senior living community, where residents also enjoy stunning lake views, gorgeous residences, and vibrant lifestyles.

Saint John’s is seeking a President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the community in meeting the needs of the next generation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this individual will be a hands-on, articulate leader with a deep passion for senior living and proven ability in developing and implementing strategic plans.

The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s highly preferred) and ideally, 10 years of leadership experience, including five years in an executive role leading a multi-disciplinary team and reporting to a Board of Directors. Our finalist will demonstrate experience leading process improvement, have a track record of customer satisfaction and a desire to coach and mentor team members, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. They will have the ability to understand and react effectively to the needs of Saint John’s staff, residents and families and all others who have an interest in Saint John’s.
