We are looking for an experienced line cook to prepare food to the chef’s specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in catering and fine dining, along with providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Must have ability to line cook, prep and have baking experience

- Knowledge of food safety procedures
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow the Culinary Director or Kitchen Managers/Chef
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience (1-2 years)
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks with a sense of urgency
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
- Culinary school diploma/Serv Safe is a plus
